A reference panel is a starting point. Cover print, tail and host still move together.
Glove use and water on the glass are tuning questions. Ingress protection is a different requirement.
ISO and IATF copies can be reviewed. Current registration is confirmed for the entity and the scope.
A medical-device touch module is not equipment approval. The device team owns clinical claims.
Before the design is frozen
Questions we can answer plainly.
Can a project start without drawings?
Yes. Describe the equipment, the intended functions and the space you have. A sketch or a reference product helps. Finished drawings are not required to begin. The drawing work is agreed after the requirements are clear.
Where should we start: keypad, PCAP or a full assembly?
Start with how people operate the equipment. Fixed functions can be touch keys. On-screen interaction may call for a PCAP panel. A display adds the screen and the connection. We compare those routes against the project. Nothing on this site is a quotation.
Do you publish a price or a minimum order?
No. There is no cart and no public price. Quantity, development cost and schedule are agreed for that project. A one-year warranty was described on a previous site; the term that applies is the one in the quotation.
Can touch work with gloves or water?
Share the glove material and thickness, the moisture, and the behavior you expect. Sensor, cover and controller are reviewed together, then sample checks are agreed. Water on the surface and protection against water ingress are different requirements. Neither is a blanket guarantee.
Can you match only the FPC from a peer module?
We match function and envelope when materials allow — length, exit edge, fold, connector family. We do not clone peer logos, silkscreen brands, or patented mechanics. Send a photo or pinout sketch with your FIXED list.
When should we choose touch-only versus a full TDM assembly?
Choose touch-only when your host already drives the display and you need a cover + sensor match. Choose a bonded touch-display module (TDM) when you want optical or air bonding reviewed as one stack. Driver / HDMI boards are discussed only when the host cannot drive the panel directly.
Does a thicker cover need controller re-tuning?
Usually yes. Adding cover thickness late can break a phone-class controller path. State the target thickness band early so controller grade and firmware modes are part of FIXED, not a surprise at sample CHECK.
